Dave and I got back yesterday from Cozumel. To date, this was our favorite beach destination. Yes, even better than St. Lucia and at a fraction of the cost! We really liked the water and since it was off-season, there were not a lot of people around. We were upgraded to the Royal Club at the resort. That meant a nicer room, access to the internet, room service (which left MUCH to be desired), and a pool and restaurant reserved just for the Royal Club (which we never used).
We spent one day away from the resort. We rented a Jeep and drove around the island, then did a little shopping.
On our flight home we didn't have seat assignments next to each other. Dave asked for bulkhead seating at the gate, and since they oversold the flight, we were upgraded to first class. Alright! There were only 5 of us in first class.
We were very anxious to see Makenzie by Wednesday night. She had a LOT of fun with my mom and Art, I think she just might be bored at home now without all the animals and space to run around in.
