Along with this doctor visit, came more shots. I think Makenzie couldn't care less about the needle sticks, she just doesn't like to be held down. As soon as she was able to get up from the table, she was once again referring to the Clifford the Big Red Dog mural (and all his friends) as puppy . . . a new word. Makenzie gets EXTRA attention from Dave on days when she's been to the doctor and Monday was even more spectacular because she got a flu shot, which left her limping and wincing with each step . . . until the Motrin kicked in. After her pajama change, she laid on the couch with her remote control so we could wait on her hand and foot, not too different from any other day except that she wasn't too feisty!
Makenzie has new shoes, and WE didn't buy them! Her Uncle Eric sent her these super-chic Vans a few months ago. They finally fit her well enough to wear, with room to grow. I only meant for her to try them on, but she didn't care to take them off so here she is in a weird outfit/shoe combination.
I like her smirk in this picture and pretend she's thinking 'what of it'?
Ready to go "buh-bye".
