One year.
I realized today that I didn't take a picture of Makenzie with the bear when she turned 2. Newborn Brinley was the stand-in.
Three years.
When I looked at this picture today, it was the very first time I have truly ever thought Makenzie and Brinley look alike. If I ever agreed with anyone when they said they look alike, I was doing it to be nice; I really didn't think they did. Until now . . . and I stared at this picture for a long time comparing every feature and surprised at how MUCH alike they are.
This was just a cute daddy/daughter moment while we were going for a walk. Makenzie said, "Daddy, I wanna hold your hand". And there you have it, another favorite picture!
