Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of Madeline's journey to Heaven. The only fortunate part of the ice storm we got was that Dave didn't leave for work at the normal 6:00 am! We spent the morning having breakfast together, feeding Makenzie, and looking at the scrapbook I made of Madeline's time in the hospital (I have yet to start one of her time at home but that's right around the corner)!
Dave left work early and we met him at St. Ann to visit the children's prayer garden and Madeline's remembrance brick. Then it was back home for some dinner, angel food cake, and Madeline videos. It was a great day of reminiscing, though bittersweet.
